Since the commissioning of our refining facility in 1998, our service portfolio has expanded to include individualized refining steps such as degumming, deacidification, bleaching, steaming, refreshing, and deodorization. These capabilities support applications in food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and renewable raw materials, where refined oils serve as high-quality starting materials.
Our Facility
Located in the town of Kroppenstedt, Germany, our facility is designed to support oilseed crushing, milling, refining, and storage under one roof. Built to handle specialty and small to mid-scale production, our plant allows for flexible batch sizes, integrated processing steps, and consistent quality for conventional and organic oilseeds.

In 2023, Kroppenstedter Ölmühle became part of the Bioriginal Group of Companies, strengthening Bioriginal’s oil‑processing capabilities in Europe while preserving Kroppenstedter Ölmühle’s operational independence, technical expertise, and long‑standing processing traditions.
As a member of the group, our customers benefit from expanded access to global raw‑material sourcing, while Kroppenstedter Ölmühle remains an independent processing specialist. Our oils, press cakes, and intermediate products support downstream ingredient development across the group, enabling closer collaboration from seed sourcing through to finished products.
